Rosalind M. Mouser Sworn in as President of the
Arkansas Bar Association

     Rosalind M. Mouser of
Pine Bluff, was sworn in as the 111th President of the Arkansas Bar Association at its Annual Meeting on June 13th. She is a partner in the law firm of Ramsay, Bridgforth, Harrelson & Starling in Pine Bluff, primarily practicing in the areas of creditors rights and banking law. Ms. Mouser has long been an active member of the Association and her community.   

She is a Past Chair of the Association's former Executive Council, Past Chair of the Young Lawyers Section, former Governor of the Board of Governors, and former member of the House of Delegates. In 1994 she was awarded the Golden Gavel award for her work as Chair of the Annual Meeting. She is Past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Greater Pine Bluff Chamber of Commerce, Past Chair of the Board of Trustees of Southeast Arkansas College, current President of the Trustees of the Southeast Arkansas College Foundation Board, past member of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Foundation Board, and current Secretary of the Arkansas River Regional Intermodal Facilities Authority. She received the 2007 Pro Bono Attorney of the Year award for Jefferson County by the Arkansas Pro Bono Partnership. Ms. Mouser graduated summa cum laude from Ouachita Baptist University and graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law. As a Rotary Scholar, she completed one year of study in international law at the University of Bristol, England. She is a member of the Jefferson County, Arkansas and American Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Debtor/Creditor Bar of Central Arkansas.
