NOTICE
OF RULES CHANGES
Please read this year's Mock Trial Rules carefully,
as there have been many changes. The Mock Trial
Committee has worked diligently to revise, add
and eliminate rules to provide Mock Trial participants
with a better set of rules. We believe the new
rules will make the administration of the competition
more fair. Many of the revisions to the rules
of evidence and the rules of the competition
more closely track the rules of the National
High School Mock Trial Competition. In addition,
the rules will be the same from year to year,
regardless of whether the case is a criminal
case or a civil case.
Please
let us know if you have questions -- but see
the Rule 8 for the new number of Team Members.
